In a 10-4 ruling, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, said that 45 kinds of assault weapons banned under Maryland law aren’t protected by the Second Amendment.

The Associated Press posted rulings almost banning people from being able to conceal carry even with a permit. Permits will be allowed in special sercomstances. But good luck qualifying for one. The rulings so far apply to California but may spread to other areas if it takes hold elsewhere. Now, people do have the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment, but it does not state for concealment. Wikipedia 2nd Amendment.
In all fairness, firearms back then were not like they are today where you can easily conceal them in your pocket or holster or however you choose to conceal. The thing with the constitution is that it is ever changing. It is not easy to change, but possible. Should it be legal? Yes, in the right hands and right people.
This is simply an attempt at gun control. Is it perfect? Probably not. But it is an attempt to make everything safe for people.
Is it the right step? I do not know.
I am not a fan of taking away some ones right to do something but this is simply a small debate in the scope of a bigger debate. Maybe the best way to come about answering if this should be allowed is by asking other questions. How do make people feel safe? How do we reduce crime? What are other countries doing to lower crime? What can we learn from other countries solving their crime rate, fun Violance, drug problem?
