Plants in Space

Recently astronauts were able to grow a flower in space. This is the first step to growing food on Mars and in space in general.  They did grow lettuce awhile back but now that they are learning to grow things in space would they be able to grow fresh produce on long space missions? Another advantage is possibly making natural oxygen in space crafts. This may help break up the mononanity of eating pre packaged food.  


Mars One

Prescott, Arizona

Prescott, Arizona is a sleepy community.  When my wife and I went through it had a number of restaurants but many residents were retired but not all of them.  Many of the uses did not have grass but rock yards.  They had wild boars running around the area and through people’s yards. We stopped there for a night in the way to the Grand Canyon/Vegas trip.
